However, I just quickly listened to some bits and I must say it is really a terrible performance!!! OMG!

First of all, you can really hear how much Chris put on his backing tape. Almost all the drums and all the special fx in the songs are not live. Yes, you can ALSO hear live drums, but they're almost insignificant! Then you hear Chris' own vocal-backing track clearly in some of the songs. And in songs like Tear Garden where there is minimal Backing-tape-vocals you can hear Chris singing badly out of tune. The Alternative is really a disaster.. I have to listen to the rest tho, but I can already guess that the rest isn't going to be much better...

What a shame... Chris used to have such a wonderful voice both live and studio, but it looks like it is gone...

God, he needs to take a break and do something about his vocal chords.
Relaxing red wine clyster, proper diet, good vocal couch, whatever.
